Executive Committee Officers

Chair

Description: The Chair is the Chief Executive Officer for the party. It is the job of the Chair to manage the affairs of the party.

1st Vice Chair

Description: The First Vice Chair is the Affiliates Director for the party. It is the job of the Affiliates Director to set up new affiliates and in general assist in the functioning and operations of LPM Affiliates.

2nd Vice Chair

Description: The Second Vice Chair is the Political Director for the party. It is the job of the Political Director to help candidates for the party to follow all the necessary steps to get on the ballot and become elected.

Secretary

Description: The Secretary is the record keeper for the party. It is the duty of the Secretary to record and maintain records of the official business of the party.

Treasurer

Description: The Treasurer of the party is responsible for maintaining records for the accounting of the funds of the party and their usage.

District Representatives

District 1

Description: District 1 encompasses the entire Upper Peninsula of Michigan and comes down into the Northern Part of the Lower Peninsula. Alcona County over to Benzie County, adding in Manistee and Mason.

District 2

Description: District 2 picks up Lake County, South Mason, Occana, Newaygo, Muskegon and Ottawa counties.

District 3

Ari Abraham

Description: District 3 takes most of Ottawa, Kent, and Muskegon counties.

District 4

Andrew Duke

Description: District 4 takes the middle of the state. Wexford to Ogemaw counties. Osceola to Montcalm counties. Gladwin to Shiawassee counties, and adding in Gratiot and Clinton counties.

District 5

Description: District 5 runs the coast of Lake Huron from Iosco to Saginaw county, but only picking Saginaw city. Genesee county also falls into District 5.

District 6

Description: District 6 encompasses all of Washtenaw County, the western and southern edges of Wayne County, southwestern Oakland County, and a small pocket of Monroe County

District 7

Lisa Gioia

Description: District 7 runs from southeast Michigan to the middle of south Michigan. Eaton, Jackson, Branch, Hillsdale, Lenawee, Monroe, Parts of Washtenaw, and Jackson counties.

District 8

Description: District 8 picks up Ingham and Livingston counties. It also adds the northern part of Oakland county which would include parts of Rochester, Oakland and surrounding areas.

District 9

Kyle McCauley

Description: District 9 encompasses is an oddly shaped voting district that pulls parts of Macomb county all the way into parts of Oakland County.

District 10

Description: District 10 is the “Thumb” of Michigan. Huron, most of Tuscola, Sanilac, Lapeer, St. Clair and most of Macomb counties.

Description: District 11 covers most of west Oakland county, and part of west Wayne county.

District 12

Description: District 12 covers down river as its commonly referred, but then heads west. South Wayne county makes up the majority, but it also goes as far west as part of Washtenaw county.

District 13

Description: District 13 is the heart of Wayne county and is the home of the downtown Detroit voter.
